How DARCARS Toyota of Frederick is Helping

From caring for the COVID-19 patients to caring for those without it, our healthcare workers are doing all they can to keep people healthy. They’re putting themselves and their loved ones at risk every day they go to work. In order to avoid bringing this virus home, workers are changing their clothes in the hospital before returning home. To help avoid the virus following our healthcare workers, the DARCARS Toyota of Frederick team is suiting up and helping deep clean and sanitize their vehicles. In just three days, we’ve sanitized thousands of vehicles.

How You Can Help

If you can, the best ways to help are by sewing masks and donating supplies to local hospitals as well as keeping yourself healthy. Sanitize your home and vehicle using a solution that’s at least 70 percent alcohol. This will kill the virus. Places in your home and vehicle to pay close attention to include:

• Door handles
• Counter tops
• Table tops
• Appliances
• Gear shift
• Exterior car door handles

You’ll also want to wipe down any other things that are frequently touched such as remotes, radio buttons, and more. Once you hit these areas, be sure to wash your hands thoroughly and leave a window cracked on your vehicle for the interior to dry out.
