Engine (Power)
You can choose between two significantly different engines when you opt for the new Tacoma. The standard engine is a four-cylinder that offers 159 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque. If that's not enough, you can upgrade to the V-6, which boosts horsepower to 278 and torque to 265 pound-feet. Either engine can pair with a six-speed automatic or six-speed manual transmission.
Performance
Performance in a truck is largely a matter of capability. With the Tacoma, you'll have plenty at your fingertips, including a maximum towing capacity of 6,800 pounds. Off-road features are also available, with the Multi-Terrain Select system letting you choose between different environments to optimize performance on the fly. Interior
Toyota sought to merge ruggedness and refinement with its interior design, offering the best of both worlds.
