Trim Levels (Exterior)
The Sienna offers six trim levels: LE, XLE, XSE, 25th Anniversary Edition, Limited, and Platinum. Its wheel size ranges from a 17-inch to 20-inch, depending on trim level. Dual power sliding doors come standard in the LE, or you can upgrade to the XLE to make the doors hands-free for added convenience. The XSE offers black rocker panels and 20-inch dark wheels, but the 25th Anniversary Edition includes a special rear external badge and offers an available hands-free power liftgate with jam protection. The Limited's 18-inch bright wheels, dark gray metallic grille, and chrome-finished roof rails offer classy curb appeal, while the Platinum adds Bi-LED projector headlights.
Engine (Power)
The 2023 Toyota Sienna is powered by a 2.5-liter hybrid engine with a double overhead cam. It has 245 net hybrid system horsepower. This minivan includes two front permanent magnet synchronous motors with an additional rear motor, depending on trim level. The Sienna also holds a sealed nickel-metal hydride battery and is a super ultra-low emission vehicle.
Performance
The Sienna has an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission. The XSE has a sport-tuned suspension and electronic on-demand all-wheel drive. Make use of the Sienna's 3,500-pound towing capacity to bring along anything you need, no matter the destination. Choose between four drive modes: normal for everyday use, eco for best fuel and battery use, EV for electricity-powered driving, and sport to boost acceleration.
Interior
The XLE and XSE have SofTex-trimmed seats, with the XSE offering a sportier look. The 25th Anniversary Edition has custom floor mats, black leather-trimmed seating, and special Ottoman seats. The Platinum adds a 10-inch color head-up display. Choose the available 1500-watt-capable power outlet to light up your next tailgate or family camping trip. For convenient communication with passengers, you can opt for Driver Easy Speak, which allows you to talk through the rear speakers with a push of a button.
The Sienna has three-zone and available four-zone climate control to maximize comfort for everyone inside. The available 1080p HD entertainment center can turn your Sienna into a theater, entertaining your rear-seat passengers on long rides. Additionally, the Sienna includes a USB media port and six USB charging ports.
Safety Features
Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 helps keep you and your family safe through many features. These include a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, which can help you avoid collisions. Lane departure alert with steering assist is also included. It warns you if your Sienna moves from its lane and can provide a gentle correction. The automatic high beams respond to your local conditions, helping to ensure you can always see the road ahead clearly and safely. The Sienna is equipped with 10 airbags, child-protector rear door locks, and 3-point seatbelts for all seating positions.
