Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 Toyota Highlander is available in six trim levels: L, LE, XLE, XSE, Limited, Platinum, and Bronze, with a Hybrid edition offered for the LE, XLE, Hybrid, and Platinum. This Toyota Highlander maintains a sleek finish with a black and silver-painted front grille and color-keyed side rocker panels and lower molding. You can choose to include black or silver painted roof rails. It also comes with a rear spoiler that has an LED center high-mount stop light, along with High Solar Energy-Absorbing (HSEA) glass on the front side windows.
Each trim is available in nine colors, including Wind Chill Pearl, Black Metal Metallic, Magnet Gray Metallic, Celestial Silver Metallic, Cypress, Blueprint, Ruby Flare Pearl, Moon Dust, and Cement.
Engine (Power)
The 2023 Toyota Highlander features a brand-new turbocharged 2.4-liter inline-four gas engine. This turbocharged engine replaces the 2022 version's 2.5-liter V-6 engine, providing you with maximized power. You'll be happy to learn that the Highlander's towing capacity is 5,000 pounds. The Hybrid model of the 2023 Toyota Highlander combines a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with dual electric motors, offering a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds.
Performance
The 2023 Toyota Highlander's performance is impressive, thanks to the 265 horsepower and 309 pound-feet of torque, along with the four-cylinder linked to the eight-speed automatic transmission. The hybrid model offers you a total system output of 243 horsepower. This new setup is meant to enhance the vehicle's overall performance and reduce nitrous oxide emissions by up to 50%. Each model is available in all-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.
Interior
You can comfortably seat seven passengers in your 2023 Toyota Highlander. Your passengers can take advantage of the third-row seating with sliding headrests and reclining functions, allowing them to achieve maximum comfort. While in the driver's seat, you can enjoy an eight-way power-adjustable fabric-trimmed seat. Passengers have the option to use the soft-touch roll-top center console with a removable utility tray. To get even more interior space, you can fold down the second-row captain's chairs and armrests.
