Engine (Power)
Two engines are available for the 2022 Toyota Tundra. The first is a 3.4-liter twin-turbo I-Force V-6 granting 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. The second engine is also a 3.4-liter V-6, but it is an I-Force Max version granting 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque. Hybrid versions of both engines are available. Both engines come tied to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Performance
The suspension system has received an upgrade, going from the older leaf-spring system to the more advanced coil-spring one. This greatly improves its ride quality and handling responsiveness. The best Tundra for off-roading is the TRD Pro, which comes with off-road suspension, special 18- or 20-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, and skid plates.

Interior
The dashboard of the 2022 Toyota Tundra is particularly unique-looking, with vents that extend out of it more than average, a high-detail digital instrument cluster combination, and a large infotainment system set into its center. Safety Features
Towing a large trailer is easier and safer than ever, thanks to the Tundra's integrated trailer brake controller system. It automatically senses the length of the trailer you connect to it and uses that info to inform its trailer merge warning system. Other safety features include rear cross-traffic alert, a blind-spot monitor, automatic high beam headlights, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, and adaptive cruise control.
