Engine (Power)
Two engines are available for the 2022 Toyota Tundra. The first is a 3.4-liter twin-turbo I-Force V-6 granting 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. The second engine is also a 3.4-liter V-6, but it is an I-Force Max version granting 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque. Hybrid versions of both engines are available. Both engines come tied to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Towing a large trailer is easier and safer than ever, thanks to the Tundra's integrated trailer brake controller system. It automatically senses the length of the trailer you connect to it and uses that info to inform its trailer merge warning system.
