Trim Levels (Exterior)
You can get the 2022 Prius Prime in three unique trim levels: LE, XLE, and Limited. The LE has quad-LED projector headlights, a patterned grille with an active grille shutter, and heated power mirrors. The XLE comes with 15-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, a dual-wave rear glass design, and an illuminated charging port. With the top-of-the-line Limited, you get bold exterior features such as LED fog lights, rain-sensing wipers, and a smart charging cable lock.
Engine (Power)
With the Prius Prime, you get an advanced hybrid engine setup. A 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine with intelligent variable valve timing comes with EV, Eco, and POWER modes. The hybrid system provides a combined 121 horsepower. Electric power is supplied through the permanent magnet AC synchronous motor and lithium-ion battery. The electronically controlled continuously variable transmission delivers a smooth ride and driving experience.

Inside the LE, you get features such as seating for five with a 60/40 split fold-down rear seat, fabric seating, and a cargo area tonneau cover. The XLE offers soft-touch upper door trim, chrome accenting, and a premium audio system with an integrated navigation system.
Lastly, we've got the premium Limited, which comes with an 11.6-inch touch-screen display, a heated steering wheel, and SofTex seating with heated front seats. You'll also find a premium JBL sound system. All three trims come with wireless phone connectivity thanks to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay technology.
Safety Features
Each Prius Prime comes standard with the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 Safety System. It includes a lane tracing assist system, lane departure warning with steering assist, and a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection. It also has full-speed range dynamic radar cruise control and road sign assist. The Limited adds a blind-spot monitor with a rear cross-traffic alert. In the event of an accident, you and your passengers will be protected by an advanced air bag system and high-strength frame design.
