Trim Levels (Exterior)
Toyota rolled out the brand-new Venza in three trims: the base LE, the midrange XLE, and the top-of-the-line Limited. This crossover's stand-alone style touts a sophisticated design from bumper to bumper. Up front, its active grille shutter and side garnish are as aerodynamic as they are attractive. LED taillights and an integrated rear spoiler give the Venza a distinguished look from behind. The panoramic sunroof and low-profile silver roof rails add a distinctive touch, and it all rides on available 19-inch multi-spoke chrome alloy wheels.
Engine (Power)
The Venza is a hybrid crossover that gets its power from a combination of a four-cylinder engine, two electric motors, and a continuously variable automatic transmission. This powertrain puts out an impressive 219 horsepower. That's enough get-up-and-go that this Toyota never feels underpowered. It touts terrific off-the-line acceleration to elevate the thrill level of every drive.

Interior
There's a lot to like about the Venza's elegant interior. It's stylish and well-built, with materials you'd expect to find in a luxury rival like heated front seats, a leather-trimmed power steering wheel, and an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat. This hybrid crossover seats up to five passengers or four adults, and it touts plenty of head and legroom for tall occupants in both supportive, comfortable rows. As far as cargo room, the Venza provides between 28.7 and 54.9 cubic feet of storage space. You can access the space with the help of an available height-adjustable, hands-free power liftgate.
Toyota's praise-worthy Entune infotainment system comes with an easy-to-use interface and a responsive touch-screen display. The base system offers a more advanced setup than you'd expect and comes equipped with an 8-inch panel, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a Wi-Fi hot spot, Bluetooth, and four USB ports. There's also available navigation, wireless smartphone charging, a 10-inch color head-up display, and a crisp 12.3-inch touch screen.
Safety Features
This modern crossover is loaded with standard advanced safety features. You get pedestrian detection, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, a rearview camera, forward collision warning, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic emergency braking, and lane-keep assist. The 2021 Venza earned a five out of five-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave it the organization's highest rating of Good in all six of its performance trials.
