2021 Toyota Land Cruiser

Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser has two trim options: the Land Cruiser and the Heritage Edition. The latter trim was added for the 2020 model year in honor of the Land Cruiser's 60th anniversary. It adds black exterior accents, a roof rack, and bronze wheels. Both models come standard with a moonroof, a power liftgate, and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Engine (Power)
Although only one engine option is available for the latest Land Cruiser, it's a powerful one. The 5.7-liter V-8 engine produces 381 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
An eight-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive are both standard for this SUV. The vehicle operates smoothly whether you're accelerating, braking, or maintaining speed. It also has solid off-roading dynamics thanks to lightly weighted steering and a responsive suspension system that electronically disconnects the sway bars to give you more wheel flexibility. All models come equipped with off-terrain tires, multiple skid hooks, and a two-speed transfer case.
When properly equipped, the Land Cruiser can tow up to 8,100 pounds. The vehicle also comes with a trailer hitch with four- and seven-pin connectors.
Interior
The 2021 Land Cruiser offers two seating configurations as well. The standard three-row format has eight seats, while the two-row Heritage Edition has five seats. Both layouts offer comfortable seats, and taller riders in the front and second rows have plenty of space to stretch out. Heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats and steering wheel, four-zone automatic climate control, and leather upholstery all come standard. When it comes to cargo space, the SUV has a decent amount of room. Behind the third row, you get 16.1 cubic feet of space and 41.4 cubic feet when you fold the seats down. Folding down both rows of seats gives you an impressive 82.8 cubic feet of space to pack whatever you need.
To keep everyone connected, the SUV comes standard with an abundance of technology features. Its infotainment system is paired with a 9-inch touch-screen display, and you also have access to navigation, Bluetooth, satellite radio, a USB port, and a smartphone charging pad. Add the available rear-seat entertainment system with two 11.6-inch displays and a DVD player.
Safety Features
Toyota vehicles are known for their stellar safety features, and the 2021 Land Cruiser comes with almost a dozen, many of which are part of the Toyota Safety Sense package. Some of these features include blind-spot monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, automatic high-beam headlights, and a surround-view parking camera system.
